Coordinates payroll processing to meet Central HR bi-weekly deadline. Assists with high priority situations such as missed paychecks, over-payments and underpayments of student and full-time employees. Aids in researching and auditing discrepancies including, running paycheck reports and verifying salary amounts.
Updates databases for Affirmative Action, Atlanta Stipend Leaders, Perimeter Stipend Leaders, Contact Databases, Raises, and Affordable Care Act hours. Under the supervision of the HR Coordinator, the Admin Asst. maintains accurate physical and electronic personnel files for student and full-time staff. Updates internal policy manuals and training documents. Oversees cash handling for all administrative office transactions (student uniforms etc.). Attends Central HR trainings/meetings as needed.
Supports the HR Coordinator with managing the student job application process. Represents the Student Center at Georgia State University job fairs.
