Outstanding practical and technical legal skills and at least 3 years of post admission experience working in at least two of the following areas of law: corporate governance; contract and commercial law; intellectual property; public sector / administrative law; property law; litigation/disputes.
High level conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide timely, concise and pragmatic legal advice and solutions.
Excellent organisation, file management and time management skills and consistent attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, professional, able to work independently and efficiently in a collaborative team environment, and will possess positive interpersonal skills and the ability to engage successfully with staff and officers at all levels of the University. Experience in an in-house and/or tertiary education environment would be highly desirable but not essential.
