Logistics Coordinator Airswift Our client, a major player in the Rail Sector in Melbourne, seeks a Logistics / Stores Officer on an initial 12 month contract. There is a potential for this role to go permanent for the right person. This role would suit someone who resides either north or west side of Melbourne, with facilities being located in both Newport and Epping.
We need a self starter who can juggle many tasks! You will have good communication skills and be able to switch from one task to another. Ideally experience with rail components is ideal
You will be subject to random drug and alcohol checks.
The role is varied and your day to day tasks will vary dependent on requirements. You will be required to order parts and components, manage the distribution, checking in and out and stock control.
Other duties include:
Data Entry – update data base with inbound and outbound goods including pick lists.
Order processing (NetSuite) - raise PR’s, check POs are correctly processed by the UK, receipt in supplier received goods and orders, run open order report and request PO amendments for ETA dates and $ value changes as required.
Enter in the “good in register” as required.
Pick goods and maintain inventory system, SOH.
Ensure pick list are completed in time for production requirements.
Complete stocktake at the end of each project as required.
Organise returns to suppliers (RMA’s)
UPS/other shipments and accounts – book Lantech shipments as required, download invoices, and raise POs for invoice processing.
Track shipments to suppliers and customers.
Obtain quotes from suppliers for project requirements keeping to budget delivery schedules.
Support as directed the quality, health and safety of Nomad, this will include entering and maintaining company QHSE registers, follow up as requested on documents or tasks.
