Your duties to prepare mining samples for testing will include:
Sorting and weighing, requiring manual handling

Job DescriptionThe Group Payroll Team works in partnership with all divisions of Nine to comply with all relevant employee legislation and regulations applicable for the Media industry.
As a Payroll Officer of this team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day processing and timely and accurate payment of salary and wages to employees across the employing entities within the Group. You are the first line of support to employees, and various teams which include People + Culture and Finance. Responding to issues in a timely manner is critical in this role to ensure a positive user experience across the Nine Group.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the role will focus on:
Receivingdeliveries and checking if samples and products meet the customer and testing requirements.
Logging samples in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) recording accurately any information, storage and analytical requirements supplied by the customer.
Completingall quality control and quarantine records in accordance with quality requirements and work instructions related to sample receipt.
Sorting, packing, labelling and distributingsamples and other items as required, internally and externally. Ensuringthat samples are delivered to the respective laboratory areas in a timely manner to meet analytical holding times and to support the achievement of improved customer turnaround times.
