Role Description:

In the role of Information Security Risk Management Analyst, you will be part of an innovative team that upholds Safety Nationals Core Values: Relationships, Integrity, Teamwork, Balance and Stability. This mid-level professional position will contribute to the completion of IT practices and objectives that will achieve business goals and objectives. You will work closely with the entire IT Risk Management team along with directly reporting to the AVP - IT Risk Management. Your contributions of security awareness, IT risk lifecycle and vulnerability management will be felt throughout Safety National.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as an Information Security Risk Management Analyst will include assisting with IT risk management activities including some or all of: the entire IT risk lifecycle, security education and awareness, vulnerability management, third party risk management, policies and procedures, and physical security. You may also be assigned various projects like, assisting with educating team members on Information Security Program.

The ideal candidate is someone with at least 2+ years of experience in risk management or security or an overall 4 years working in an IT related field. Some of the essentials skills required of you in this role are, Excellent written, analytical, problem solving and verbal communication skills, ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently. Someone who can be detail-oriented and possess a desire for quality. Prior experience with intermediate understanding of software and applications is preferred

Qualifications:

Education:

• A Bachelor's degree, preferred

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of working experience in IT or related field.
• Possess 2 or more approved certifications within job area.
• Intermediate understanding of software and applications
• Detail-oriented and possess a desire for quality
• Motivated, self-directed, results-oriented, and customer-focused
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and hand multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working with Distributed team members
• Property and Casualty Insurance experience
• 2 years' experience in risk management or security

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target salary range for this position is $80,000 - $129,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
