Your tasks:

• You are responsible for the administration and further development of the highly available Linux server landscapes
• You will assume operational responsibility for WWK's central storage systems
• Incident, problem and change management for the above-mentioned environments are part of your area of responsibility
• You act as a contact person for external service providers and employees from the IT department on technology, process and project issues
• You analyze, evaluate and document alternative solutions, taking technological and economic aspects into account
• The documentation of IT systems, tools and processes round off your field of activity

Your skills:

• You have successfully completed your studies or training in the IT field and can already look back on at least three years of professional experience
• You have experience in the administration of Linux servers
• You have good knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the storage systems from NetApp and Pure Storage
• Ideally, you already have some experience with the operation of Docker containers with Rancher
• You are characterized by initiative, independent work, high commitment and above-average resilience
• Strong planning and organizational skills, conceptual abilities and an analytical mindset are among your strengths
