Sr. Business Analyst I, EDI NEXTGEN Healthcare Job Description:
The Sr. Business Analyst I, EDI supports EDI business operations by analyzing requirements and provides technical support during and after implementation for healthcare electronic data interchange applications.
Perform analysis of data sources and processes to identify areas of opportunity. Design new projects/programs by analyzing clients' requirements; provide recommendations and system improvements. Consult with Development and Business Analyst team on complex technical errors and defects. Work with Trading Partners on payer connectivity and troubleshoots issues related to EDI system. Provide technical support during and after implementation for healthcare electronic data interchange applications. Develop methods, techniques, and evaluation for obtaining results and works on all phases of systems analysis. Provide clarity to developers, negotiate with stakeholders on conflicting requirements, etc. This may include holding meetings to deliberate on solving specific problems, identify risks and manage technology-related restrictions. Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing to ensure clients' needs are met effectively. Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
Education Required: Bachelor's degree. Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
Experience Required: 4+ years' experience in EDI or Healthcare IT 3+ years use of NextGen PM or similar practice management software solution. Experience in Customer Service. Project Management or Project Implementation experience a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of: Comprehensive knowledge of subject matter; technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, Skill in: Analytical, problem solving, research. Troubleshooting, collaboration, communication, interpersonal.
