About the Role

We're looking for a talented Copywriter who will be responsible for creating and delivering high quality writing in both English and Spanish across a variety of platforms. We are looking for someone who can take creative insights and briefs and turn them into powerful messaging that works and drives impact.

The person in this position will be working on one of our largest and most exciting clients delivering work that creates an impact. You will be joining a close-knit team of creatives working together as a collective to create fresh, bold, distinctive and breakthrough ideas

They will partner with an Art Director and work with a Sr. Art Director/ Sr. Copywriter team underneath the Creative Director.

The Ogilvy New York office is currently operating on a hybrid three day a week in-office model.

What You'll Do

  • Be a steward of the brands' tone of voice and be able to adapt it in both Spanish and English in all mediums
  • Ideate and execute sound creative ideas for client deliverables
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and present creative concepts for clients and new business to help build brands
  • Work closely with art directors and designers to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone, style, and brand guidelines
  • Tailor concepts to business objectives and audience demographics
  • Translate creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective concepts
  • Proofread and vet copy to ensure consistency in tone, grammar, and messaging before assets are handed over for production or posting
  • Keep up on global cultural trends and industry updates, integrating this understanding of the landscape into your concepts
  • Present concepts to internal teams, senior company leaders, and clients

What You'll Need

  • 1-3 years' copywriting experience in an agency setting
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Strategic and conceptual thinking
  • Passion for learning and self-improvement
  • Proactive, positive, and a self-starter
  • The ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adaptable and able to handle changes in briefs, priorities, and edits

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. Pay Range$75,000—$180,000 USD
