The McLeskey Comprehensive Breast Center, part of Brock Cancer Center and Sentara Leigh Hospital, is hiring a Full-Time Mammography/Interventional Technologist.

Position and Department Overview:

  • Performs ordered mammograms, including diagnostic mammograms.
  • Assists the Radiologist and surgeons with special procedures, including stereotactic and ultrasound guided biopsies.

The McLeskey Comprehensive Breast Center is among an elite group designated as an American College of Radiology Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. After rigorous evaluation, our center is NAPBC accredited in the three major areas of breast imaging and cancer detection: mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy and ultrasound-guided biopsy. Required Education:

Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology

Licenses and Certifications:

  • ARRT
  • Basic Life Support

Required Experience:

  • 1 year experience in invasive mammography diagnostic, and/or mammography interventional/Breast Ultrasound procedures
