The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for posting all incoming payments accurately and efficiently.  This position will help support the Accounting Team with various tasks and projects.  The position handles highly confidential information

• Responsible for posting all incoming payments and submitting daily deposits to the bank. Duties also include various accounting department functions including, but not limited to:
  • Ability to research and provide copies of check details upon request
  • Reconciliation of daily deposits in accounting system compared to the bank
  • Ability to research and find statements through several online carrier portals
  • Reconciliation of client premium allocations compared to what is billed in the accounting system, and compared to the carrier statement(s).
  • Unclaimed property tracking
• Other Duties:
  • Work on special projects as assigned
  • Provide the accounting team with support and back-up with various tasks
  • Preparing journal entries

• Requirements:
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate large amounts of data for trends
  • Ability to accurately process large quantities of daily transactions
• 1+ years of office experience.
• System knowledge Requirements:
  • Vlookups, Pivot tables, Sort, Filter, Etc.
  • Outlook
  • Word

Salary Range: $48,000 to$55,000 DOE
