The Opportunity

DAT is looking for a Compliance Rep II to join our Customer Support team. This is a hybrid position in our Beaverton, OR.

Our Compliance Representative's are responsible for reviewing and approving service requests for new and existing accounts by ensuring customer eligibility aligns with criteria set by DAT and the Federal Highway Administration. This involves monitoring credit reviews, researching new accounts, and validating broker and carrier authority. Your role also encompasses maintaining accurate customer records, enhancing the customer experience through professionalism, being the "Voice of the Customer" to contribute feedback for product improvement, identifying sales opportunities, and offering backup support to other Product Support teams via calls, emails, and chats.

What You'll Do

  • Review requests for service for new and existing accounts.
  • Confirm customer eligibility for service, approve those that meet the established criteria.
  • Monitor credit reviews on new and existing accounts.
  • Research new accounts, verifying that accounts are eligible for service, based on criteria established by DAT and the Federal Highway Administration.
  • Verify and validate broker and carrier authority.
  • Maintain complete customer records, accurately update changes to customer records.
  • Own the "Customer Experience," by professionalism, initiative and follow through.
  • Be the "Voice of the Customer," by sharing customer feedback to help improve DAT products and services.
  • Share potential sales opportunities with DAT Sales.
  • Provide backup support to other Product Support teams by taking inbound calls, emails and chats.

The Skills and Experience You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance, customer support, or related role at a SaaS call-center.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and evaluating customer eligibility for services.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and validation of customer accounts, broker and carrier authority.
  • Effective communication skills to interact professionally and courteously with customers and internal teams.
  • Proven track record in maintaining accurate customer records and attention to detail.
  • Experience with credit reviews and assessments for new and existing accounts.
  • Capability to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify sales opportunities and collaborate with the sales team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and provide resolutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a high-performance team environment.
  • Proficiency in using communication channels like calls, emails, and chats to support customers.
  • Initiative and follow-through in contributing to the enhancement of DAT products and services.
  • Understanding of compliance processes and commitment to maintaining industry standards.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or additional education is a plus

The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
