Job DescriptionDescription:

The Receiving Coordinator at Mate Precision Technologies manages incoming deliveries by verifying and signing for shipments, unloading and storing the received items, and delivering items/products to the correct requestor/department. They will also promptly process all paperwork, pack and prepare documentation for daily outbound WIP material shipments, and ensure safety regulations are met.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Work accurately in a fast-paced environment while communicating effectively to suppliers and coworkers, staying organized, and being adaptable to changes in daily priorities.

Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.

Note items suspected of being damaged in transit, collect delivery information, take photos, and notify the buyer to initiate a freight claim.

Unload steel delivery trucks.

Unpack and examine incoming shipments, verify items and quantity to the packing list and the PO, and receive items into the ERP system.

Note shortages and suspected quality issues, while corresponding with buyers and Q/A department personnel to rectify receiving issues, as needed.

Collect and manage shipment documentation, i.e. packing lists, bills of lading, quality certifications, etc.

Label items and deliver them to their designated stockroom(s), work center(s), and/or to the requestor by operating lift trucks, hand trucks, hoists, and carts.

Organize, count, and prepare outbound shipment documentation for daily heat treat, coating, and third-party manufacturing processing.

Contact couriers for pickups and deliveries, as needed.

Follow-up with heat treat, coating, and third-party manufacturing suppliers for overdue deliveries and ETA inquiries.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate re-orders for various supplies or services to support the business operations.

Collaborates with others, is open-minded, responsive, and supports others' efforts to succeed.

Demonstrates integrity by being dependable, having good judgment, being honest, and taking responsibility for their actions.

Respectful of others, encouraging others to share their ideas, actively listening to others, and having common courtesy.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • O.S.H.A. approved forklift license preferred.
  • Six months to one year of related experience is required.
  • Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay, Work Schedule, & Benefits:
