Shift Manager - Logistics | Permanent | £59,000 - £62,000
As Shift Manager, you'll have excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills with experience in people/team management and development skills. You will drive a high level of quality control, be able to develop and maintain good long-term working relationships with internal and external customers across multiple functions, acting a primary Logistics point of contact for site and deal with any issues as a priority whilst on shift.

As our next Shift Manager you'll be responsible for managing and optimising the performance of the despatch operation including all activities and personnel relating to inbound and outbound finished product movements and administrative functions. You will drive the team's performance to meet Encirc's service, safety and cost targets, communicating effectively between the shifts to enable accurate reporting and resolution of major events.
The Key Requirements
Encirc produces up to 3 billion glass bottles and containers each year, many of which you'll find in your homes. In 2021, we created the world's most sustainable bottles, using 100% recycled glass. Our Automated Warehouse in Elton is one of the largest in Europe, it has the capacity to store 256,000 pallets and is serviced by 24 high reach cranes. - Knowledge & previous experience in high-pressure Logistics environments within the food, drinks or packaging environments
- Professional qualification is desired
- Experience of working within a large multinational organisation
- Effective people and team management and development skills
- Strong planning & coordinating skills
