Responsibilities

  • Management of all contract renewals held by the Contract Management Team
  • Monitor and action extensions, rate changes to existing contracts, migrations, and new business
  • Validation of contract proposals and rating projects
  • Working closely with other departments to manage issues and recommend resolutions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Finance).
  • Presenting recommendations and operating within the delegation of authority and approval guideline framework.
  • Contributing towards the continuous improvement of processes to help drive efficiencies.
  • Customer calls for new accounts/contract set-ups and analysis of set-up and other responsibilities as required.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Performing ad hoc analyses and operationalizing corporate pricing initiatives
  • Relationship-building skills be able to build strong relationships with our internal stakeholders and clients to facilitate effective contractual discussions
  • Problem-solving being able to identify potential problems in contract negotiations and develop solutions to resolve them
  • Supporting and leading all courier and LTL contractual agreement changes for the organization to ensure the contract is loaded on time
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar area of focus a definite benefit, but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of automation and data distribution, including but not limited to EDI, shipping and/or transportation management systems and similar
  • Expert level in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office
  • Experience with Salesforce and SAP
  • Proven ability to thrive in a diverse, highly collaborative and fast-paced team environment
  • Motivated and disciplined in managing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Exemplifies and consistently demonstrates our core competencies of communication, innovation, change management, relationship building and leadership
  • Bilingualism (English/French) would be an asset
Additional Qualifications
  • A natural problem solver and strategic thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines, ensuring timely contract execution and renewal.
  • Proficient in reviewing and finalizing contracts manually and/or using contract management tools.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with legal counsel, sales teams, and other stakeholders to negotiate terms and resolve discrepancies in contracts.
