Pay Range: $65,000-$95,000

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

  • Develop & execute continuous improvement initiatives by reducing logistics costs while maintaining high delivery service levels and positioning TempurSealy for logistics optimization.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain processes and transportation.
  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify patterns/trends in the data in order to provide valuable feedback to supply chain leadership on best practices, areas of possible improvement, or untapped opportunity.
  • Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and analysis on key business metrics (throughput, capacity, utilization, quality, etc.) for logistics management.
  • Monitor, audit, and enforce compliance of all company safety and FMCSA regulatory guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.
  • Evaluate transportation routes, modes, and carriers to optimize delivery schedules and costs.
  • Assist in continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives.
  • Refine the Transportation strategy to adapt to current and future business needs while ensuring that customer service is integrated into decisions.
  • Conduct transportation cost studies relating to expansion of or changes to existing sales markets, realigned geographical area of responsibility for Plants, and Distribution Centers, and development of new products.
  • Maintain familiarity with legislation, rulings, techniques and other developments which impact on the TempurSealy Transportation.
  • Review and provide feedback of annual Transportation budget.
  • Represent and support logistic functions in corporate and regional meetings as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
  • Preferred 3-years prior experience in transportation, freight management, and commercial trucking fleet operations, or related experience.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on excel, power BI or other analytic tools.
  • CTP, or related, certification a plus
  • Ability to learn in house ERP software.
