What you'll do
As a part of the Aftermarket Services Team, the Reverse Logistics Planner you will support our Antenna Systems business by coordinating activities associated with the returned products in need of repair or upgrade while maintaining imperative relationships with our commercial and government customers.
The day-to-day
As you manage the returns of assemblies and modular components from the field, you will also schedule repair; manage supplier and in-house repair throughput; manage inventory; collect, analyze and report repair data; coordinate with third party logistics (3PL) service centers; perform spares analyses, and coordinate the flow of global reverse logistics. You will be required to handle material issues, including ordering parts and maintaining data using Oracle ERP system. Your customer service and interpersonal skills will be utilized as you interface directly with external customers, manufacturing, engineering, production control, procurement, program management, shipping and receiving.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Must be able to lift and move product and sub-components up to 50 Pounds
- US government position. US citizenship required.
What will help you on the job
Preferences
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- 1+ year(s) of transferable customer service experience
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in improving processes or procedures
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle
- Experience with reverse logistics/aftermarket support/MRO operations
- Experience in inventory management
- Experience working in a Defense manufacturing environment
Salary range
$62,900.00 - $109,300.00 / annually
