Spirit Airlines is looking for a Material Logistics Specialist to join their Material Operations team. To be successful in this role candidates should possess material handling experience in a warehouse setting, must be comfortable with computers, and general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written this role, the individual will be responsible for processing aircraft parts requests and logistics movements to support the Technical Operations team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing shipping, receiving, and stocking of materials as well as maintaining accurate stock levels to guarantee materials availability needed for maintenance events. Perform shipping, receiving, and stocking of materials. Maintain accurate stock levels to guarantee materials availability needed for maintenance events to avoid service disruptions by aircraft being out of service due to parts shortages. Responsible for preparing dangerous goods declarations, pack dangerous goods shipments and tender dangerous goods for 3 rd party transport on Spirit Airlines ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-driven, and reliable. Candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. Most importantly, the Material Logistics Specialist should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.
