Wieland is hiring a Commercial & Supply Chain Intern. The Commercial & Supply Chain Intern will be focused on elements of the Commercial and Supply Chain organizations within Wieland Rolled Products North America. The internship will receive exposure to a broad variety of topics and business functions within the business unit. The intern will participate daily in team activities to cultivate an understanding of the rolled products business, markets served, and high level supply chain dynamics. This role is located in Louisville, KY and will be fully on-site.

Commerical & Supply Chain Intern Responsibilities:

Commercial

Customer Survey - Will process and analyze the results of the annual Customer Survey
• Competitor Profiles - Assemble / update major competitor profiles both domestic and international.
• Market Intelligence - Running log of intelligence between customers and competitors based on formal visit reports or informal reports.
• Quote Analysis - Provide analysis on quote activity, price points and products requested.
• Customer Service Overview - Understand role of customer service in order-to-cash process

Supply Chain

• Sales and Operations Planning Process.
• Lead-times, priority list, shipment report, item setup process overview.
• Materials Planning - Overview of planning for reroll, mastercoil, and finished goods.
• Reporting- will assist team in reporting status of key business metrics.

Commerical & Supply Chain Intern Qualifications:

• Student involved in a Bachelors or Masters program, with a focus in Business, Marketing, Management, Finance, or other related discipline.
