TikTok Shops Supply Chain & Logistics is looking for an experienced Daily Transport Operations Center Lead to oversee the daily operations of the Transport Operations Center (TOC), ensuring smooth and efficient transportation activities, while managing a team of transportation specialists. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor transportation operations, and implement strategies to optimize transportation processes and meet service level requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Transport Operations Center (TOC) team, including transportation specialists, dispatchers, and coordinators, to ensure seamless execution of daily transportation activities, load planning, and routing.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and transportation service providers to schedule and track shipments, manage transportation exceptions, and ensure on-time delivery of goods.
- Monitor transportation performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze transportation data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement in transportation operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, warehouse, procurement, and customer service, to prioritize transportation activities, resolve operational challenges, and optimize freight movements.
- Implement transportation management systems (TMS) or logistics software to streamline transportation workflows, automate processes, and improve visibility into transportation operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and protocols for transportation activities, safety compliance, and emergency response within the Transport Operations Center.
- Conduct regular meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions for TOC team members to ensure adherence to best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement in transportation operations.
- Manage communication channels, escalation procedures, and incident response protocols within the TOC to address transportation disruptions, service delays, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies, initiatives, and investments to enhance transportation capabilities, optimize costs, and improve service levels within TikTok's supply chain network.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA) is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in transportation operations, logistics management, or related roles within the logistics and supply chain industry.
- Strong understanding of transportation modes (air, ocean, rail, trucking), carrier operations, freight management, and logistics technologies.
- Experience in leading and managing teams, coordinating transportation activities, and optimizing transportation processes to meet operational targets and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS), logistics software, and data analytics tools for transportation planning, optimization, and performance monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members, foster collaboration, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze data, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions in transportation operations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, carriers, and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and make decisions under pressure to ensure operational continuity and customer satisfaction.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $125400 - $253080 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
