The Job/What You'll Do:

The Transfer Specialist is a key contributor responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of daily transfer procedures atAssetMarkTrust Company. This role involves managing complex issues, resolving transfer items not in good order, and initiating incoming or outgoing transfers. The Specialist collaborates with contra firms to facilitate smooth asset delivery, demonstrating strong attention to detail, teamwork, and flexibility to handle volume surges while meeting service level agreements. A continuous improvement mindset, expertise in transfer processes, and adherence to regulatory requirements are essential. The Specialist actively drives improvements, scalability, and efficiency within the transfer process, contributing to a commitment to customer focus, accuracy, speed, and service excellence.

Specialists also have the ability to become Gold or Platinum certified, as well as promoted to a Level 2, 3, or Sr for taking on additional responsibilities, cross training to flex across multiple core work types, and exceeding key performance metrics.

ResponsibiIities:

  • Coordinate incoming or outgoing transfers, reviewing and interpreting paperwork.

  • Maintain detailed information on delivery and contra firms, track and update incoming requests, and resolve issues.

  • Handle inbound/outbound calls, resolving transfer issues and providing timely communication.

  • Resolve NIGO issues, escalate when necessary, and conduct daily transfer audits for accuracy.

  • Update and maintain transfer procedure documentation and ensure proficiency in core work types.

  • Be an active participant in the problem resolution process, providing thoughtful feedback.

  • Conduct thorough research and root cause analysis for transfer-related errors and outages.

  • Identify and engage resources forworkflow/system improvements, taking immediate action on reconciliation outages.

  • Fully own resolution, improvement, and knowledge sharing for task-specific issues.

  • Proficient in multiple core work types for transfers in and out.

  • Provide coverage and serve as a backup for other work types as needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce risk and improve processes.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of ACAT, Non-ACAT and DTC transfers.
  • Minimum f 2 years of industry experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

  • Ability to quickly master multiple business systems and applications.

  • Ability to analyze, interpret, report, and communicate data effectively.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Experience in brokerage industry and banking

  • Expertise in transfer initiation, allocation, follow-up and transfers off-platform

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $50,000-$55,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
