What you will be doing...

The Operations & Channel Strategy team, as part of the Total by Verizon (TbV) Channel Management organization, orchestrates TbV strategic programs and initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring channel readiness and operational excellence.

As the Consultant - Channel Mgmt, you will support the overall distribution growth strategy for Total by Verizon exclusive stores. You will be responsible for translating the TbV strategic vision for distribution and ensuring developed models and placement recommendations align to our priorities.

In this role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days (in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)

In this role you will:

  • Support the end-to-end ownership of multiple complex strategic initiatives/projects simultaneously and organize/prioritize them to align to the channel’s broader strategic goals

  • Manage and support placement strategy for TbV Exclusive distribution

  • Review all TbV site proposals for TbV placement strategy alignment

  • Serve as a TbV Exclusive channel subject matter expert, advising cross functional teams on channel nuances, processes, and ways of working

  • Consistently deliver high quality work that fully addresses the intended criteria, goals, and objectives

  • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing to stakeholders, team members, and leadership

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Willingness to travel approximately up to 25% or less.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • An MBA, or an M.S. in a related field.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, VLSS certification in Green Belt or Black Belt.

  • Experience in data science & process automation.

  • Experience working with external partners and/or vendors.

  • Experience in the Verizon Value segment.

  • 4+ years actively working in Distribution Strategy.

  • 4+ years of program and / or project management experience.

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with changing and evolving roles and responsibilities.

  • Excellent executive presentation skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • A team player orientation collaborating well with others.

  • A passion for delivering exceptional experiences to partners and consumers.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $89,000.00 and $181,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
