Location: Corporate Support; 109 Northpark Blvd., Covington, LA 70433

Job Summary:

The Fleet Coordinator will be a primary contact for employees who have company vehicles, delivery vehicles, and suppliers providing the vehicles and support services, including negotiations and problem resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct customer services for Poolcorp and its subsidiaries including all over the road assets, personally assigned vehicles, and warehouse equipment.
  • Manages asset maintenance program which includes developing and or maintaining separate programs for all Poolcorp assets including light duty vehicles, medium to heavy duty vehicles, and material handling equipment.
  • Analyzes all maintenance events that come in for potential cost savings options with regards to approval or denials of proposed maintenance work.
  • Develops and maintains vender performance rating/reporting.
  • Maintains day to day standard operating procedures and educate drivers and Pool employees on best practices for company vehicles
  • Ensures that all vehicles are compliant with local, state, and USDOT regulations
  • Performs analysis of Fleet data to identify cost savings measures, cost avoidance, and Fleet improvement opportunities
  • Performs routine audits in telematics database to amend any telematics anomalies, most notably telematics non-communication.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or a minimum of 5 years business experience, preferably in customer service, finance, business, audit, transportation, logistics, and/or supply chain.
  • Experience involving company car, truck fleet, or Material Handling is desirable.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically MS Excel.
  • Self-starter able to work in a team environment.
  • ASE Certified preferable.
