Schedule

5am - 2pm - must have flexibility on hours as well as weekend shifts

Pay

$75K-$90k DOE

The Role

Responsible for the organization, scheduling of staff. On & off the floor guidance of warehouse personnel on a day-to-day work plan, Responsible for warehouse safety, order accuracy, productivity levels.

Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:

  • Provide leadership, coaching and training to warehouse associates at all levels placing an emphasis on culture, talent evaluation and leadership development.
  • Works side by side with Human Resources on hiring initiatives and practices.
  • Management of schedule
  • Develops and maintains processes and procedures to ensure accurate, efficient, and productive work activities for warehousing functions.
  • Ensures timely and appropriate identification and resolution of issues
  • Responsible for accurate and timely payroll approvals.
  • Responsible for warehouse overtime rates, communicating inventory status such as out of stock product(s), receiving errors, picking/packing errors, and warehouse slotting of products.
  • Communicating between personnel at the facility as well as at the main office location
  • Responsible for conveying maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  • Lead by example & be able to perform the jobs and fill in when necessary.
  • Responsible for warehouse safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of OSHA local and state regulations.
  • Conducts disciplinary actions in regards to company policy, performance and attendance of crew
  • Responsible for Quality and Food Safety.
  • Upholds employee handbook policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned














Qualifications









Desired Experience

  • Ability to work in refrigerated environment, 35 - 45 degrees continuous throughout the day
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Inventory Management experience is a plus
  • Must be able to safely operate all warehouse equipment
  • Must be able to operate a forklift and rider pallet jack
  • A vast knowledge of the fresh produce or the perishables industry is needed to be successful in this role.
  • Must demonstrate excellent written, verbal and oral presentation skills.
  • Must have an excellent work record with references from current and/or previous employers.
  • Ability to plan, organize, implement, and follow through on projects.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and short deadlines.
  • Critical Thinking, ability to use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of management internally and externally.
  • Adaptability/Flexibility, with the ability to react quickly to changing requirements from internal and external conditions while maintaining good communication with all parties involved.
  • Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, and reach regularly.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and days, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to take direction, read, and write in English
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
