Vaco is hiring for a Logistics Operations Coordinator located on the Northside of Jacksonville, FL.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This position acts as the liaison between our customers and vendors and is directly responsible for providing each with an optimum customer service experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Create/Build shipment to prepare shipment for brokerage team.

• Schedule appointments associated with each shipment.

• Monitor & Track active shipments per customer.

• Provide timely updates and responses to customers regarding shipment status.

• Collaborate and communicate with the in-house team to best service customer.

• Focus on volume and GM growth for customers

• Build relationship with customer to gain trust & future business.

• Performs additional duties as required by supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• Experience is not a requirement, but enthusiasm, high energy, and a willingness to learn is essential.

• Bilingual/multilingual is a plus but is not required.

• Advanced customer service skills.

• Attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to multi-task is required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, by phone and email, and the ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment is required.
