Job Description









Job Summary: The IP Supply Coordinator is a pivotal role in ensuring optimal inventory levels of imaging plates, operating supplies, and raw materials. This position oversees the efficient operation of supply vending machines, coordinates supply acquisition, manages shipping and receiving processes, handles administrative tasks, enforces safety protocols, and fulfills assigned responsibilities. Additionally, the role involves cutting special IP cuts for various locations, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customized orders to meet the unique needs of different organizational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

  • Maintain computerized inventory of imaging plates, office supplies, and raw materials.
  • Process incoming orders and maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.
  • Collaborate with planning and manufacturing teams to ensure adequate supply levels.
  • Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts for inventory accuracy.
  • Dispose of obsolete inventory and adjust the inventory system as needed.
  • Handle hazardous waste as required.

2. Shipping and Receiving:

  • Prepare and ship orders promptly and accurately to various teams.
  • Receive supplies from vendors and update inventory levels accordingly.
  • Communicate with relevant parties regarding back-ordered items for timely fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with Distribution and Delivery Center (DDC) to manage inventory effectively.

3. Administrative Support:

  • Maintain accurate records of supply inventories and usage.
  • Generate monthly reports displaying material usage.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing on purchase orders.
  • Complete required logs and records, electronically and in hardcopy format.

4. Safety Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety rules and regulations within the plant and department.
  • Safely operate equipment and tools.
  • Identify and report safety concerns promptly.

5. Additional Tasks:

  • Perform any other duties as directed by management.

Training:

  • Receive on-the-job training.
  • Complete computer software training as required.
  • Complete Hazardous Waste Management Training if necessary.

Entry Qualifications:

  1. At least two years of materials handling experience, including ordering, receiving, and inventory management, or equivalent.
  2. Previous experience with computerized inventory control systems.
  3. Prior shipping department experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  4. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and pay attention to detail.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Windows-based software; experience in Visibility or an MRP system preferred.
  6. Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
  7. Strong coordination skills to manage multiple activities effectively.
  8. Willingness to work in varied conditions and physically perform job functions.
  9. Effective communication skills to interact within the organization.
  10. Dedication to process improvement and attention to detail.
