Warehouse Supervisor

Hourly Range: $25.00 to $28.00 depending on experience.

Summary:

Supervise daily activity of warehouse operations including but not limited to receiving, shipping, delivery/logistics, and inventory. This is a working supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily warehouse operations (incoming/outbound). Ensure handling, storage, transportation stocking, order filling shipping, and flow of products through the warehouse area. Ensure shipping commitments are met.
  • Ensure the entry of data into the warehousing system to ensure all records accurately reflect physical inventory. Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, inventory turns, fulfillment lead times, and delivery times. Conduct inventory audits as required and reconcile records. Develop and maintain inventory reports. Identify problematic areas and advise management.
  • May develop a delivery schedule and coordinate with sales and service to ensure products are delivered on time according to contract commitments. Monitor warehouse safety and cleanliness.
  • Interface with customers, sales, and service to maintain positive customer relations and resolve issues as necessary. Ensure all customer service standards are met effectively and efficiently.
  • Fill in on the floor as needed to ensure commitments are executed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, material control/inventory planning, and vendor management /negotiation. May have worked in a lead capacity.
  • Must have familiarity with automated inventory/ordering systems and be computer literate (MS Excel, MS Word, Lotus Notes).
  • Process improvement abilities are preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work.
  • Demonstrated ability in order processing and reconciliation.
  • Must have written and verbal communication skills with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
