Job Description
- Palletize freight, manually load/unload boxes.
- Operate electrical/manual pallet jack.
Education/Experience
- Years of related experience 1 year plus.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
Skills
- Must be able to pass a written electrical pallet jack test
- Must be able to read pertinent information in English on a RF device and cartons
- Must have a high regard for quality and attendance
- Able to safely and efficiently operate a pallet jack and or forklift.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
- Continuous standing required for 8-10 hours
- Must be able to tolerate hot/cold climate.
Typical Working Conditions
Will work around equipment, such as conveyors, and rolling stock, which could contain hazards. Other exposures found in a distribution center such as high level of noise and dust may exist for this position.
