Description
Summary: Ensures processing equipment and processing areas of the plant are cleaned and sanitized daily.
(1st shift - 5:30 am - 2:00 pm with flexibility in shift).Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Ensure processing equipment and processing areas of the plant are cleaned and sanitized daily to meet USDA guidelines for food safety.
2. Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule, and complete hard to complete tasks in ALL departments.
3. Clean and put away empty chemical barrels as needed.
4. Ensure CIP systems around the plant are washing with the correct concentration using titrations and calibrated conductivity meters.
5. Ensure the outdoor areas near the dumpster and barrel trailer are neat and clean.
6. Ensure chemical storage areas are in order and up to our GMP Standards.
7. Assist with plant audits as needed.
8. Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience:
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* Previous cleaning experience preferred.
* Food manufacturing or other plant experience preferred.
* Attention to detail a must.
