Warehouse Worker with Light Woodworking

$18 - $20 per hour Depending on Experience

We are a well-established door distributor located in Southeast Florida, specifically in Lake Worth. With a strong reputation in the industry, we take pride in providing high-quality architectural wood doors and exceptional customer service. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse/Woodworker with potential to move into the Wood Shop department. As a key member of our Warehouse department, you will be responsible for receiving, shipping, and organizing inventory in our warehouse with some light woodworking.

This is a full-time position. 

You will be required to take a drug test upon hiring.  We are a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, organize, and manage inventory in the warehouse.
• Operate basic woodworking machinery and tools (saws, sanders, drills, etc.).
• Assemble and finish wood components for door frames, moldings, and other products.
• Collaborate with the Wood Shop team to ensure efficient production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Possibly undergoing training for the Wood Shop department.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a similar role preferred.
• Proficiency in woodworking techniques, handling power tools, hardware, and templating.
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver license.
• Ability to pass a drug test upon hiring.
