The Shipping Clerk is accurately verifying and preparing orders for shipment by using the established procedures of the shipping department to meet or exceed the expectations of our customers.

Our Shipping department in Belleville, IL is now looking for a Shipping Clerk.

Key Tasks

SUPPORTS SHIPPING OPERATIONS BY:
Preparing and verifying a shipment order (pick note order) and its item, quantity and special instruction information while producing a quick, efficient, and safe work flow; ensuring that any errors are caught and reported to customer care, warehouse department, assistant team leader, and/or manager.

MAINTAINS QUALITY SERVICE BY:
Processing outgoing time sensitive shipments using UPS, FedEx and ERP system; accurately entering information in the appropriate shipment software; scanning the product and labeling the shipment appropriately; keeping error rates minimal and within acceptable ranges; maintaining an efficient work pace; meeting and exceeding all performance measurements: quantity, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work performed.

MAINTAINS INVENTORY BY:
Replenish supply of shipping boxes, copy paper, etc. at workstation on a daily basis.

Your Background

• High School diploma or GED required and one to three months related experience required
• Basic personal computer skills.
