Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $18.32 - Midpoint: $21.97 (Hourly N4)




Department/Organization: 505171 - Supply Store - Ferguson




Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, some weekends & extended hrs.




Job Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor assists with managing the processing and transferring of merchandise from the Supply Stores Vendors to the retail sale departments and to the branch Supply Store locations. Performs duties which may include receiving, shipping, warehousing, inventory control, distribution of equipment, packing and moving equipment and supplies.




Additional Department Summary: This position assists with supervising the processing and transfer of merchandise from the Supply Store vendors to the retail sales departments. This position must demonstrate a strong technical and operational knowledge over a wide range of job responsibilities. This position must perform with consistent accuracy and be attentive to detail to achieve the required positive results expected in a complex retail system.




Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of shipping and receiving experience; or associate's degree or higher and some shipping and receiving experience.




Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Final candidate must submit to and successfully pass a post offer drug test.




Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating a computerized warehouse system. Hand truck and pallet jack experience.
