*Job Description*
We are seeking a skilled and professional AZ Driver to join our Transportation team *Monday-Friday (rotating Saturday shift every 4-6 weeks).* You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from our recycling facilities.
*Responsibilities*
* Operating an AZ-class commercial vehicle to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
* Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
* Performing manual tarping if necessary
* Performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
* Completing accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation
*Qualifications*
* Valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
* Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission is required
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AZ Driver
* Must be physically fit to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins
* Customer service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Physical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required
* Familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials is an asset
