Job Description Summary
* $20/hour with a shift differential of $1.25
* Temporary position (estimated end date mid November)
* Swing Shift (Monday- Thursday 3:00pm- 1:30am)

Contributes to the distribution of products from Columbia Sportswear Company's Distribution Center by ensuring our product is received, labeled, inventoried, and shipped according to customer expectations and demands. Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes pallet jacks, forklifts, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move products.

Warehouse associate- I may be cross-trained and assigned to departments listed below:

  • E-commerce
  • VAS (Value Added Services)
  • Inbound
  • Shipping
  • Active (Order Picking)
  • Returns
  • Outbound

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

  • Receives incoming products and affixes proper labeling.
  • Makes boxes according to pick labels, loads on a cart, and picks to appropriate box.
  • Unloading cases from the pick cart verifies the accuracy of packing. Seals cartons and sends to shipping.
  • Disposes of empty cartons.
  • Maintains accuracy and attention to detail while using Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accountabilities for all units.
  • May operate manual or automated material handling equipment to move products.
  • Maintains positive open lines of communication with all Columbia Sportswear management, staff, and other departments to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization.

YOUHAVE:

  • Experience working in an industrial setting is preferred.

JOB SCOPE:

  • Position requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, reaching, bending, or stooping. Must be able to move freely throughout the facility and lift up to 40 lbs. regularly.
  • Occasionally requires the ability to work in place
  • Ability to communicate with others
  • Overtime may be required
