Performs all duties with restock of Omnicells, Receiving

Responsibilities

• Restocks all items in the Omni Supplier & Exchange carts to their par levels as needed.
• Replenishes all items in the Omni Supplier & Exchange carts which have reached either their re-order or critically low level to their pre-determined and designated par levels.
• Performs critically low restock before 2 P.M. to insure no items stock out before the regular scheduled normal restock.
• Performs weekly cycle counts on all items in the Omni Supplier to maintain product supply accuracy.
• Physically counts only those items which are to be restocked for the day before the restock items are added to the Omni Supplier & Exchange carts to insure accuracy of supplies.
• Removes defective supplies from the Omni Supplier & Exchange carts & reports this to the head Nurse & Manager of Distribution for replacement.
• Utilizes supplement restock system for Omni Supplier by removing the item from STAT stores as needed.
• Responsible for checking and receiving all medical supplies & insures all receipts are in proper order.
• Receives all medical supplies for the Omni Supplier & Exchange carts by checking the item against the bin label description before placing the item in appropriate location.
• Insures receipts are in proper order by comparing the receipts against the computer requisition orders daily & writes in the discrepancies after the Omni Supplier & Exchange carts are restocked.
• Insures that back orders are filled daily with incoming stock.
• Reports all discrepancies to the Manager of Distribution for follow-up due to an error in the Order the day of restock.
• Gives reports to head nurse of back orders that occur the day the supplier is filled & follows up with Manager of Distribution.
• Responsible for maintaining Omni Supplier & Exchange carts free of excess medical supplies.
• Insures all incoming supplies with expiration dates have a life expectancy of three months.
• Responsible to insure all incoming supplies are placed within cells or put onto cart & none are left unattended.
• Assigns locations to newly added items & inserts bin labels.
• Responsible for the receiving of supplies & equipment in accordance with RBMC policies & procedures.
• Verifies that all items received are matched to a corresponding purchase order number.
• Verifies that information on packing slip agrees with information on the purchase order.
• Follows established procedure for handling discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Daily review of receipts & back orders
• Responsible for the accurate labeling of delivery locations on all supplies & equipment.
• Responsible to keep all supplies and totes palletized or on flat trucks.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs or experience.
• 6 months experience with supply handling and inventory control required

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Ability to lift, carry, and handle medium to heavy weight supplies, material, and equipment

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Valid Driver's License
