About the Job:


The Data Science Intern will support the design, development, and implementation of data analysis solutions within the organization. This position involves working under the supervision of senior data scientists, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the analytics initiatives that support business objectives.



In This Role You Will:



  • Assist in the development and implementation of data analysis and machine learning models aligned with the organization's business goals.

  • Support the data science team in the exploration and analysis of complex data sets.

  • Participate in the design of algorithms to analyze diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes.

  • Learn and apply data preprocessing, cleansing, and verification techniques to ensure data integrity.

  • Collaborate with other interns and team members to understand data analysis requirements and challenges.

  • Contribute to the development of visualization dashboards to communicate insights to business stakeholders.

  • Assist in the maintenance and documentation of data science projects, including data pipelines and model training processes.

  • Participate in the evaluation and application of new data analysis tools and technologies.

  • Support the team in testing and validating predictive models and algorithms.

  • Aid in resolving data analysis issues and improving the performance of existing solutions.

  • All other duties and projects as assigned.



Qualifications:



  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Some experience with data analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc.

  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.

  • Eagerness to learn and a strong interest in the field of data science.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
