Job Summary
The Supervisor, PACE Transportation works under the general supervision of the Manager, PACE Operations and is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing the transportation services for participants.Accountabilities
Plans and coordinates all scheduling activities related to transportation for SeniorCare PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) participants. - 30%
Supervises daily activities of the PACE Drivers in accordance with established schedules. - 25%
Responsible for coordination of all outside service providers of transportation. - 10%
Reviews and verifies all bills for services provided by outside contractors. - 10%
Participates as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team.\u00A0 Attends staff meetings and takes part in participant care planning.\u00A0 Communicates any changes in participant condition to team members. - 10%
Supervises transportation staff and is responsible for performance review, evaluations, payroll, and related human resources duties for direct reports. - 10%
Ensures all necessary program records are maintained according to policy. - 5%
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of employees that may include final budget authority, hire/termination/disciplinary authority, performance appraisal responsibility. Job will be considered a member of the management staff with direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
At least two years supervisory experience. Must have one year experience working with the frail or elderly and one year of experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses
Valid driver\u2019s license, an acceptable three-year motor vehicle record as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Chart, and a certificate of auto insurance.
Heartsaver certification.
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
Proficient computer skills (word processing)
