Management of the Maintenance Program:
Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive maintenance programs and schedules for all assets, including equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish maintenance priorities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational needs.
Regularly review and optimize maintenance procedures to enhance efficiency, minimize downtime, and extend asset lifespan and ensure DOT compliance.
Maintain accurate records within the maintenance management system, of maintenance activities, including schedules, inspections, repairs, and costs.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to schedule maintenance activities, procure necessary parts and materials, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
Evaluate vendor performance and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Budgeting and Resource Allocation:
Assist in the development of maintenance budgets, forecasts, and expenditure plans.
Monitor expenses and resource utilization, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Procure necessary supplies and services in accordance with budgetary constraints and operational requirements
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
Stay updated on relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards related to maintenance practices and safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies through regular inspections, audits, and documentation.
Generate regular reports and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of maintenance programs and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze data trends and maintenance metrics to anticipate maintenance needs, optimize resource allocation, and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Experience with fleet and/or asset management systems or administration experience with asset database systems.
Basic understanding of heavy trucks, trailers, equipment, and rebuilding equipment.
Valid, clean driver's license.
Prior management experience preferred.
Must have computer skills and experience with Word & Excel.
