Job Summary:

We're looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Domestic Logistics Manager. As a Domestic Logistics Manager, you will oversee and optimize all domestic transportation and distribution operations within our organization, with a specific focus on optimizing processes related to Amazon Vendor Central. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to our warehouses and from warehouses to customers across the country. Your primary objective will be to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance the efficiency of our domestic logistics network while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize domestic logistics operations, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs
• Manage relationships with domestic carriers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with service level agreements for optimal transportation rates and service levels
• Coordinate shipment routing and scheduling to minimize transit times, considering carrier capacities, transportation modes, and delivery requirements
• Oversee Amazon Vendor Central processes, including order fulfillment, shipment creation, and compliance with vendor standards, ensuring seamless integration with logistics operations
• Collaborate with inventory control teams and 3PL partners to maintain accurate inventory levels, streamline order fulfillment processes, and optimize domestic logistics network
• Identify cost reduction opportunities, develop KPIs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance domestic logistics operations' efficiency and reliability
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations governing domestic transportation and distribution
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the logistics team while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
• Performing other related duties/projects as assigned

• Proven experience in domestic logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role
• Strong understanding of domestic transportation modes, including trucking, rail, air freight, and intermodal
• Experience with Amazon Vendor Central processes and requirements
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS),FedEx Ship Manager
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Well-organized with excellent time management, and high attention to detail
• Effective leadership and team management abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Compensation details: 95000-105000 Yearly Salary
