As an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, you will help to ensure world-class reliability for plant instrumentation and control systems. Your responsibilities include providing technical leadership and support for process instrumentation across all installations. Additionally, you'll develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans for the site's instrumentation and analyzer infrastructure. As a subject matter expert, you will troubleshoot instrumentation and analyzer issues, assist plant I/E technicians, and participate in the DCS team, including cross-training for callout rotations. You will report to the I&E Supervisor and work on a team that includes Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians, DCS Specialists, Instrumentation and Controls Engineers and Electrical Engineers. Safety Leadership: Lead by example and coach safety practices, supporting plant safety initiatives.Train and Development: Create training plans for I/E technician teams across all plant areas.Maintenance Programs: Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for instrumentation and analyzers using CMMS and process control network data.Troubleshoot: Analyze and repair failed controls and instrumentation, assisting I/E technicians.Control Strategies: Implement basic and advanced control strategies to troubleshoot plant control issues.Coordinate: Utilize DCS configuration tools and instrumentation knowledge to solve complex plant problems through communication with operations, plant engineers, and maintenance.
You Have:
Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Computer/Electronics Engineering preferred).
