2 years Psych experience required

13 week contract, EOW required

Must be licensed in state of PA or have licenses for PA pending

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for this Social Services Specialist opportunity include, but are not limited to:

1. Primary functions may include: Clinical Interventions/Discharge, Care Planning Management, Fiscal Management, and Payer/Referral Management
2. Responsible for the coordination of health care decisions by using a systematic approach to ensure treatment plans that improve quality and outcomes.
3. Responsible for the promotion of cost-effective care within allotted time frame
4. Assure payments of hospital-based services meet patient-related utilization of management criteria.
5. Implementation of safe and appropriate discharge plans.
6. Assiss the social work needs of the patient and provide intervention as part of the discharge planning process.
7. Maintain accurate required clinical records.
8. Demonstrate the skill in communicating concepts and information accurately orally or in writing.
9. Maintain current knowledge of and abides by federal and state laws.
10. Attends meetings and professional activities as required.
11. Adheres to establish HIPPA confidentiality standards or patient/resident and client location information.
12. Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Social Services Specialist:

1. Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or univiersity
2. Valid State Social Workers Licence
3. Post Social Work Master's Degree experience, working in relevent clinical settings
4. CPR Certification
