Job Description

·     The staff must demonstrate the ability to assess patients' status and identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age specific needs.

·     The Radiologic technologist assists in the acquisition of patient history and entering into Hemodynamic system and/or EMR.

·     Prepping patient and attaching leads, Defibrillator Pads, BP cuff and setting up the sterile field.

·     Assisting the Physician at the table maintaining sterile procedure. Responsible for availability of supplies and equipment keeping in mind fiscal responsibility.

·     Responsible for all duties related to Radiation Safety and Protection.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Education.

Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or an accredited Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Program.

Certification of completion in a cardiovascular review course preferred.

Required Credentials, License, and / or Certifications.

ARRT Registered or CCI equivalent.

Licensed in the State of Ohio.

BCLS.

ACLS within one year.

Experience & Knowledge:

Special Procedures experience preferred. Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Lab or Electrophysiology Lab experience preferred.

*Advance EKG recognition course experience within 1st year of hire.

Demonstrating proficiency in arrhythmia recognition preferred.

Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
