Responsibilities:
Collaborate in the design of EV charging projects throughout the UK, from initial concept to finalisation. Generate feasibility studies, concept designs, and technical plans either independently or in accordance with provided briefs, as well as offer on-site support during construction. Conduct site visits for assessments and inspections, documenting findings as necessary. Work closely with the team to interpret design concepts and create comprehensive drawing packages for various projects, including planning, building permits, tender, and construction documents. Ensure statutory approvals are obtained for each project as necessary. Review and coordinate proposals and drawing packages from other sub-consultants. Prepare Designer's Risk Assessments in compliance with CDM Regulations.
Essential Qualifications and Training:
Desirable: HNC/HND in Building/Architectural Technology. Demonstrated industry experience in architectural/CAD delivery. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment. Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification/industry experience in UK projects from inception to completion. Construction and on-site experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and the Office Suite. Strong technical skills and comprehension of construction detailing and specifications.
