Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and manage a team of 8-10 engineers, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
    • Run the scrum process, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
    • Define project goals, milestones, and deliverables, and ensure that the team is aligned and focused on achieving them.
    • Coach, mentor, and uplevel team members, providing ongoing feedback, guidance, and opportunities for growth and development.
    • Collaborate closely with product management, design, and other cross-functional teams to define project requirements and priorities.
    • Identify and address any roadblocks, risks, or issues that may impact project delivery, and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
    • Ensure that engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes are followed.


Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
    • Strong technical background and hands-on experience with modern software development technologies and methodologies. We use .Net, Angular, Typescript and AWS for our tech stack.
    • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
    • Passion for mentoring and developing team members, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.


$188,000 - $219,000 a year

The target salary for this position is $188,000 - $219,000 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and additional opportunities for incentives and bonuses for performance beyond goals. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at a minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
