Technology Portfolio Analyst

The Opportunity:
As an aerospace or naval engineer you know leading-edge technology and systems are critical to national defense. We need your skills and expertise in engineering and systems to develop creative solutions that directly impact the warfighter.

As an aerospace or naval engineer on our Marine Corps team, you'll provide expertise in evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, and improving the design of aerospace or maritime systems. Your experience in DoD acquisition processes, is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution.

In this role, you'll research and develop the metrics and testing procedures necessary to analyze a given technology's suitability for use in the USMC. Review project test plans, applying the principles of trial design, design of experiments, and development of Critical Operational Issues (COIs). Perform evaluations for operational suitability through Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) Environments that provide an immersive tactical training and evaluation ecosystem. Perform research, develop T&E plans, and perform incidental support, including budget and schedule, to facilitate technology insertion and inform requirements development. Implement a process to prioritize requirements and rapidly insert capability into the operational environment. Your engineering knowledge will help the Marine Corps expand and improve their capabilities to protect national security and the warfighter.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering or technical field

  • Experience with DoD acquisition S&T processes and requirements development

  • Experience with DoD program acquisition and management processes

  • Knowledge of program management processes, including contracting, source selections, technical readiness assessments, return on investment calculations, and transition planning

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor' degree in Engineering or Science

Nice If You Have:

  • Knowledge of Force Design

  • Ability to think, plan, and work at a tactical level

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Master's degree

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
