Job Summary:

The Manager, Dynamics Application Development is responsible for setting the vision and direction for SharePoint and the D365 Customer Relationship Management platform with best practices and understanding of the vision at CareSource IT. The role will have oversight over D365 and power platform development, system integrations, web services, API and data integration development for the CRM platform. The manager, in close collaboration with architects, will work on establishing and ensuring coding standards and practices, robust and reliable system design and architecting of new and existing systems related to customer relationship management. The manager will own the application lifecycle management, system integrations, and data modelling for this platform as well as developing the team to high performing and ensure that the team is following enterprise agile practices.

Essential Functions:

  • Drive roadmap creation and execution
  • Support when required technical expertise does not exist on the team
  • Collaborate with various functions, drive engineering initiatives for the platform
  • Participate in technical design
  • Regularly assess the platform to ensure standards for code and system integration, general reliability, availability and performance.
  • Drive a professional relationship between key business stakeholders, Architecture, and IT functions
  • Work closely with customers, business partners, project managers, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality solutions that comply with the organization's architectural standards
  • Provide leadership, priorities, metrics, measures, recognition, and discipline
  • Develop strategy and efficient processes to enable teams to get quality/efficient delivery
  • Understand IT needs and evaluate delivery process to drive continuous improvement
  • Liaise closely with other IT teams to optimize the use of systems and applications
  • Develop, document, and maintain short and long-term plans for the delivery model
  • Raise the bar on talent by enabling continuous learning
  • Focus on business decisions required by technology, development status, problems and issues, project status and success
  • Represent IT in project and/or business meeting and engagements
  • Participate in departmental meetings/activities and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Develop career plans for staff based on their input and personal and team objectives
  • Coordinate and manage vendor relationships and accountability on project involvement and deliverables
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • Minimum seven (7) years MS CRM Dynamics 365 experience required.
  • Minimum four (4) years of managing software engineers.
  • Minimum six (6) years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical knowledge building SaaS applications, web based software platforms, system integration design and API design in a Healthcare setting

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Be both highly technical and an effective people manager
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective
  • Deep knowledge of system integrations, web services, data modeling, APIs development
  • Extensive Experience in Saas based application development
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and operations
  • Deep expertise in application lifecycle management, system integrations, Web services, data modelling, API development (Axway, Boomi), SOAP, XML, REST and Java script
  • Deep expertise in SaaS and Web based application infrastructure (Kafka, MQs, API gateways)
  • Proficient in Microsoft technologies (infrastructure or application development)
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
  • Project planning skills and abilities, Problem solving capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of best practices relative to application development or infrastructure standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to manage personal and team time effectively
  • Effective organization and prioritization
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and managed care philosophy and culture

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:
$90,500.00 - $158,400.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
