Description

As Lighting Specification Account Manager, you will sell architecturally designed and manufactured lighting products for commercial use. You will be selling to Lighting Designers across NY Metro, Long Island area, and North New Jersey who require custom lighting solutions for custom-designed and manufactured commercial and industrial lighting products or the use of residential, commercial, retail, culture and also outdoor landscapes. The territory is the NY Metro, Long Island area as well as North New Jersey. The base salary is $120,000 - $150,000 plus bonuses and commissions.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
• $120,000 to $150,000 Base Salary, plus commission
• OTE in the first year is $145,000-200,000
• OTE in the second year is $200,000+

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:
• Head Office - New York, New York
• Working from the office 5 days a week as well as significant travel within territory visiting clients
• The sales territory is NY Metro, Long Island area as well as north New Jersey
• Full-time - Monday to Friday

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 5 years experience selling bespoke lighting solutions to lighting designers.
• Existing contacts and relationships within the Lighting Design Community are an asset.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Excel - Basic
• PowerPoint - Basic
• MS Word - Basic

THE PRODUCT / SERVICE / SOLUTION
• Custom-designed and manufactured commercial and industrial lighting products or the use of residential, commercial, retail, culture and also outdoor landscapes.

• Sales cycles can vary from 3 months to 1 year +
• Product Value/ Account Size can vary from $2000 - $1,000,000 +

• The ideal candidate has lighting industry and sales experience and will have self-directed training as
