Job DescriptionDescription:Are you an Mechanical Engineer looking to advance your career with a growing company. Are you comfortable working in a manufacturing environment?
- Responsible for managing data and driving improvements related to utilities: steam, chilled water, process water, compressed air, fire suppression system, electricity, natural gas, wastewater.
- Responsible for assessing new and existing utilities requirements, designing and optimizing the facility layout and critical operational systems, and overseeing infrastructure and utilities equipment projects.
- Develop and implement utilities plans, perform system evaluations, and establish operational efficiency.
- Develop utilities and facility specifications.
- Identify and mitigate utilities issues for existing facilities through sound engineering and process improvement.
- Provide technical recommendations for installations in new facilities.
- Analyze project costs and prepare budgets.
- Support design and oversight of facility expansions, layouts, and various utilities systems.
- Develop processing plans and optimizing resource allocation.
- Plan and coordinate infrastructure and utilities equipment project schedules and activities.
- Coordinate and oversee contractors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
- Prepare reports and compliance documentation.
- Develop yearly plan for powered industrial vehicles leases, purchases, and maintenance contracts.
- Initiate, review, and finalize all leases for power industrial vehicles
- Monitor and evaluate aged fleet and provide yearly plan for each plant throughout the network
- Monitor and own power industrial vehicles monitoring system throughout the network and provide weekly behavior reports to all plant managers
- Provide guidelines for all vehicle preventive and predictive maintenance programs

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Preferred 1-3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Utilities Engineer, Facilities Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Preferred experience with steam boilers, air compressors.
- Preferred experienced with power industrial vehicles (Front End Loaders, Forklifts, and yard trucks) operation and maintenance
- Preferred experience with review of contracts, and leases from initiation to termination
- State approved Boiler/Engineers License preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment, electrical, plumbing, water utilities, distribution systems and controls, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of the building process and construction principles.
- Experience in cGMP is desirable.
- Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point.
- Ability to use Microsoft Project, Visio, and AutoCAD is desirable.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Project management skills.
