Job Description

Maintain lab supplies and perform basic biological experiments. This position is grant-funded.

Prepare buffers, mediums, plates, clean and autoclave utensils and maintain a clean lab environment.

Perform PCR genotyping, PCR, store yeast cells

Must be undergraduate students majoring in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or equivalent.

Have taken at least two semesters of college-level, science-related courses.

• Ability to lift objects weighing 25lbs occasionally

• Ability to bend, stoop, grasp, and reach

• Not exposed to adverse environmental conditions; work is performed in indoor settings with climate control

Must follow protocols provided by Ke Reid or graduate mentors from Reid lab Responsible for own work.
