SMV Recruiting has an awesome client who is looking for an onsite Branch Manager in Derry, NH. This is a 3rd generation family owned company in the manufacturing and distribution space and is very much rooted in creating a family friendly culture and putting their people first. Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager to oversee the operations of their branch, including managing the staff, operations, profitability, performance, and growth. This is a leadership role that requires strong business acumen, strategic thinking, strong leadership and excellent communication skills. FYI this is a direct hire role that comes with base + commission, company vehicle, full benefits and a great team!
*RESPONSIBILITIES*:
* Motivate employees through encouragement and leading by example aimed at fostering an awesome company culture
* Communicate often with customers, sales team and leadership on any issues or concerns in a timely manner
* Conduct daily huddles, safety meetings and check in with staff
* Cultivate and build strong relationships with customers external and internal, employees and leadership
* Supervise staff including, hiring/firing, training and development, check-ins/evaluations, coaching and disciplining and scheduling
* Identify areas and ways to increase sales, branch growth, and improving customer service
* Regular review of profitability through contract pricing, budget preparation, revenues & expense
* Maintain showroom, marketing, and advertising to increase sales
* Maintain inventory at specified levels through review of dead stock, open transfers, and reduction of items for welding supplies and pressure washers
* Order parts and equipment for customer deliveries
* Manager and plan out daily delivery routes for 2 drivers and monitor all drivers and vehicles for compliance with DOT requirements
* Inspect and maintain building and grounds to provide a safe workplace and access for employees and customers
* Constantly search for solutions and areas for opportunity & improvement
*REQUIREMENTS:*
* Associates degree desired; Bachelor’s degree preferred
* 3+ years’ experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
* 4+ years of management experience
* Must have, at the time of hire, and maintain throughout employment, a valid NYS drivers’ license free of major infractions
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, talk, hear, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, and perform repetitive motions
* Ability to exert more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
