What You'll Be Doing

The Retail Operations Specialist provides operational and retail support for the retail banking functions at Bank Iowa. In partnership with the Retail Banking Director, develops and implements the retail business plan that aligns with the overall strategic goals of the company. Provides leadership and guidance to retail management at all bank locations. Ensures retail locations deliver consistent customer experience through sales and service calls.

  • Contribute to the execution of the retail strategy that aligns with the market strategy of all location / market locations and meets the overall objectives of Bank Iowa.
  • Oversee all location retail administration and operations and establishes policies and procedures that drive efficient location operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Update and develop policies, procedures and supporting documentation to support retail division.
  • Deliver internal and external client service support, retail training support and development, new retail deposit account growth, and new retail product campaigns and promotions.
  • Exhibits full understanding of all products, services, client relation techniques and market trends. Serves as technical subject matter expert regarding matters of Retail banking.
  • Monitors and communicates location activity including transactional, volumes (and quality), and new loan and deposit account cross sales efforts and results.

The Retail Operations Specialist is generally scheduled to work between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, hours can be flexible depending on need. Internal candidates located in one of our branch locations may be considered.

Requirements:

Skills/Experience You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3-5 years' retail banking or operations experience or a combination of both.
  • Strong banking knowledge and understanding of electronic banking services.
  • Ideal candidates will also possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, strong attention to detail and have demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and proficiently.
